Moreish Choc Hazelnut Bites
Makes around 30 treats
1 cup dates
1/2 cup roasted hazelnuts
2 tbs peanut butter
2 tbs good quality cocoa powder
around 2 tbs maple syrup
Method:
- Place all your ingredients into a food processor and blitz until your hazelnuts are roughly chopped, the dates have broken down, and the mixture becomes sticky.
- Now to shape your yummy bites. Take a heaped teaspoon-full of the mixture and roll it into a ball. You can wet your hands slightly if the mixture is too sticky.
- Place each ball onto a baking tray. Continue until all the mixture is used up.
- Place the baking tray into the fridge and leave those moreish balls to set for at least 2 hours.
- Once they’re nice and firm, store them in an airtight container in the fridge.
