I don’t know about you but during the week I’m far too busy for a complicated breakfast routine. However the weekends are a different story. At my place the weekends are for take my time, lots of strong coffee, cooking in my pj’s, lazy family brunches. May 10th is Mother’s Day here in Australia. Not gonna lie, since having the kid it’s hands down my favorite day. A typical Mother’s Day for us starts out with The Mother’s Day Classic, a charity fun run, we then go for brunch, and finally pop in to my Mum’s house. It’s such a lovely day that fills me with gratitude and wonder. It is going to look slightly different this year because of social distancing but we’re still going to celebrate in our own special way. And that includes my Fancy Banana and Strawberry Porridge.
