Welcome to the “What’s Cooking?” breakfast edition! Today’s post is all about finding breakfast inspiration from around the web. And what better way to kick it off than with my super yum Vegan Peachy Porridge. This combo is so incredibly scrumptious you’ll feel like you’re having dessert for brekkie! But seriously, I had to give this bowl of deliciousness a shout out ’cause it’s a family favorite. Nourishing, tasty, and super easy to make – I’m talking my entire kitchen mantra in a bowl. If you haven’t made it yet click on that link and get cracking, you won’t be sorry. 🙂
I’ve always felt French Toast was a one of those breakfast dishes reserved for special occasions. You know, a little bit fancy. An elusive dish I could never quite master. So when I came across Jeanie’s fool-proof recipe over at Love and Lemons I could not contain my excitement. Jeanie’s tips and tricks for making light and fluffy French Toast had me dancing around the kitchen (not to mention eating far too many helpings). Do yourself a favor and check it out. Sometimes, it just has to be breakfast on the run. Lucky for all of us there’s Cookie and Kate’s granola bars! Wholesome, chewy, delicious squares of nourishment, they’re the perfect addition to any food prep week. Honestly, who knew it was so easy to make your own granola bars? I’m making my big batch this weekend. When are you doing yours? (Cookie and Kate)
I do tend to go for sweet flavours at breakfast time but when I’m after something savory Julie over at The Simple Veganista has always got me covered. You see, Julie has a way with chickpeas. What’s more, she always keeps the instructions simple and the food yum. I reckon the following recipe will be my weekend brunch – you in? (The Simple Veganista)
I hope you found some solid breakfast inspiration above – I know I did. 😉 Be sure to hit me up in the comments with your breakfast ideas or pop over to my Instagram and say hey. Happy cooking friends! xx
